This is an original Qantas 'Order of the Qantas Jet Maintenance Base, Mascot' folder, including black and white photograph, dated 14th September 1964.
This order, awared to Mr J. E. May, includes a letter from C. W. Neilson and a photo of Mr May's visit to the Jet Maintenance Base Qantas Airways at Kingsford Smith Airport at Mascot in Sydney.
The award is worded 'This is to certify that Mr J. E. May has been awarded the Grand Order of the Qantas Jet Maintenance Base, Mascot. It is further certified that, after having toured the said base, the holder of this diploma qualified as an expert in watching Qantas V-Jets undergoing maintenance.
It is in good condition with some discolouring to the paper due to the age, slight markings on the cover, as per the photos.
