Penrite Racing have long been known for their outstanding commemorative liveries, and their sleek gold livery for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 was another incredible example.

Following the great success of 2023’s brushed copper machines (or the copper rockets, as they’re known here at AC), Penrite Racing returned to Bathurst with a shimmering livery that looked spectacular.

The metallic gold hue of the Penrite Racing Mustang contrasted perfectly with the sleek black, which fans have become accustomed to.

With Dale Wood joining 2023 Bathurst 1000 Winner Richie Stanaway in the #26 Mustang, this is a model that fans of both drivers, Penrite Racing, and The Great Race shouldn’t miss.

It will look incredible on display alongside past Penrite liveries, forming a very impressive collection in their own right.

This 1:18 scale edition is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
